In our work, we strengthen the ability of financial intermediaries to identify productive small businesses and provide them with the resources to grow. In doing so, we enhance the competitiveness not only of our clients, but also of the businesses that they serve. My motivation for the work that we do stems from the fact that these efforts are critical to the economic growth process; greater competition yields greater innovation, which is the key to sustainable economic growth.
