What I find most riveting in our work is the ability to take ten steps back from the technical jargon – the operations, the products, the policies, and the processes, and to dive into conversations with [potential] customers – to demystify, explore, and truly appreciate their realities and perspectives. We are regularly fascinated by how many people draw from minimal resources to run a household and raise a family, and nurture their strength of spirit in times of adversity. In the beautiful words of Max Ehrmann, “Everywhere, life is full of heroism.” And the optimist in me loves to discover that.
