Worked with financial institutions in places as varied as Liberia, Mongolia and Serbia to help them find new and innovative ways to better target their clients with new loan products.
Brought this spirit of innovation to two leading rural microfinance institutions where I serve on the boards and am responsible for strategy and product development.
Continue to support financing growth in developing markets, working with tools and methodologies such as equipment finance, credit guarantee programs and value-chain financing help bring financial services to where they are most needed.

My favorite part of my personal career focus, as well as that of Enclude, is that we often serve in the role of “bridging the gap” between the providers of financing and the users of financing. I like to think that I am on both sides of the loan officer’s desk, working with the loan officer to better understand the loan applicant (so that he can provide a financing product that makes sense) as well as working with the borrower to help him explain his business to the lender. This work can take many aspects and fill many needs, but (ideally) the end result is a satisfied and profitable lender, a prosperous and growing borrower, and increased outreach of financial institutions to support the real economy.
